Senior Citizen Cruise Ship Vacations: YouRe Never Too Old
Senior Citizen Cruise Ship Vacations: YouRe Never Too Old
As the members of the Baby Boomer generation have begun to reach retirement age they have completely turned the traditional idea of the “sunset years” on its ear. The senior citizen of today is nowhere near ready to slow down and has more opportunities than ever before to continue enjoying life to the full.
If youre a senior citizen whos been exploring lifes possibilities youve undoubtedly thought about traveling. Finding vacation packages geared for seniors is easier than you can imagine whether they be guided tours travels with a church or other social group or simply flying solo. But one sometimes overlooked senior travel possibility is the cruise ship vacation.
The cruise vacation industry has grown exponentially over the past ten years and most cruise lines operate several different ships in a variety of classes. They have made their ships to accommodate and fill their cruises with so many activities that youre sure to find the one which is perfect for you.
Heres a list of just some typical daily activities aboard one of the leading cruise lines:
Lowimpact aerobics
Sunrise stretch class
Walkathon
Napkin folding
Shopping and island information talks
Party Bridge
Golf putting tournament
Art auction
Cash prize Bingo
Island music poolside
Slots tournament
Perfume seminar
Jewelry and Cash Bingo
Aquadynamics
Blackjack tournament
Piano music
Movie
Cocktail music
Karaoke
Piano bar entertainment
Dance music
50s and 60s Trivia
This list however doesnt include anything about the shipboard stage entertainment the offshore excursions or dining. Nor does sit mention the ships library pool tables onboard shops and private deck areas along the ships stern where you can simply stretch out on a lounge chair and watch the clouds and ocean drift by.
Most cruises will offer lectures and seminars on everything from the culture of your next portofcall to the wines being offered with the evenings entrees. If you love the food you may be lucky enough to sit in on a cooking lesson with the ships chef or even a visiting celebrity chef! One cruise line will even let you earn SCUBA certification before you reach the next great coral reef.
The stage show offered of todays cruise ships are every bit the equal of what you can expect to see in Las Vegas complete with pyrotechnics laser lighting and huge casts of dancers and singers. Royal Caribbean has three ships with ice skating rinks and even if you think your skating days are behind you you can still enjoy their version of the Ice Capades! Vaudeville is alive and well on cruise ships when youre in the mood for sheer silliness.
Most cruise ships have cocktail mixers at which you can mingle with your shipmates and most of them also have dance floors where you can strut your stuff. The casinos and Bingo parlors are great for fun on the days youre at sea but the portsofcall youll visit are really the highlights of your cruise. Pulling into a tropical bay with balmy breezes and 75 temperatures when the folks back home are bundled up against the snow and strolling along a deserted beach or playing a round of golf on one of the worlds elite courses are just some of the unforgettable experiences youll enjoy on your cruise.
Youll never have a safer vacation environment than that of a cruise ship. Regardless of whether youll be traveling solo or with family or friends you can relax completely and let yourself be pampered just as youve always dreamed. The only thing you wont like about your senior cruise ship vacation is that you waited so long to take it!

Selecting A Caribbean Cruise Itinerary No More A Herculean Task
Selecting A Caribbean Cruise Itinerary No More A Herculean Task
It goes without saying that nothing but Caribbean is the most popular and attractive place for cruising among the cruise lovers. But where to sail in Caribbean the eastern or western Caribbean is a difficult task for the cruisers. There are a number of people who choose a Sevenday Caribbean cruise for enjoying the cruise for the first time at Caribbean Sea.
Generally when people search on the internet or visit any tour and travel company they often see that most of them provide Eastern and Western itineraries. But which one to choose is a problem. So it well and truly counts upon ones taste and like.
At the same time choosing the right cruise with ports is also important because it is the most important part of journey. No doubt both eastern and western itineraries offer cruisers with the chance to swim and have shop sail and snorkel. But both itineraries are different from each other so here is a short note of these two popular itineraries.
Eastern Caribbean Cruises
Generally the ships whose destination is eastern Caribbean set out from Florida. On Eastern Caribbean the ports of call often included the St. John USVI St. Maarten/St. Martin Bahamas Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. If one gets bored of sailing then one should not worry about it because there are more chances to go for shopping and the fantastic beaches which is the beauty of Eastern Caribbean itinerary. Shore excursions are generally meant for water activities and beach.
Western Caribbean Cruises
The cruise ships of the western Caribbean boards from Texas Florida and New Orleans. On a Western Caribbean the ports of call which are often included in the itineraries are Costa Rica Grand Cayman Cozumel Key West Playa del Carmen FL Mexico Belize the Dominican Republic or Jamaica. In comparison to the Eastern Caribbean ports of call the ports of call of western are further different from each other. Because of this cruisers have to spend more time on the sea and less time on the ports. it is the mainland Mexico Belize Costa Rica or at larger islands Jamaica Dominican Republic on which there are the ports of call in the western Caribbean sometimes. As a result there are varieties of the shore excursion choices.
At last in Caribbean cruise both Eastern and Western itineraries are great. So according to ones like one can choose the best itineraries for enjoying their vacations.

San Felipe Baja Ca Mexico Quiet Little Baja Town Safe
San Felipe Baja Ca Mexico Quiet Little Baja Town Safe For Americans Come Play And Live
I’m not a writer so please check out my web site www.baja247.com Thank you!!
Hi my name is Patty Bell I have lived in San Felipe for 3 years. My husband and I love it! I have many American Canadian and Mexican friends here in the San felipe area. I belong to two local clubs The Rotary Club and Las Amigas. My husband and I have been in the construction business in California for 30 years. We came here to get away from the Rat Race. We have a small construction business. I have many contacts in town. Ask me I can get you an answer!
Here is info on one of my favorite pasttimes here in San Felipe. It lasts only 3 days but that is plenty of time for this “sleepy little town”.
The Baja 250 is the peninsula’s version of the Calgary Stampede except the course is narrow 240.34 miles long and the bulls have 200 decible bellows and 3000 suspension. The Baja 250 is in full swing this weekend. The PreRuns have drawn a number of early arrivals and the desert is pluming dust to the west. Freight trucks tractor trailers and 5th wheel trailers have been lumbering into town all night glazed by the sand of the evening’s windstorm. Parking in town has become an Easter Egg Hunt. The trophy trucks will own the town for the next few days.
Many people are unclear regarding property rightsin Mexico for Americans. NAFTA is a controversial subject but it lead to better property rights for Americans. With the North American Free Trade Agreement beginning January 1 1994 the Foreign Investment Act of 1993 was passed by the Mexican congress to promote foreign investment into Mexico. This law allowed foreigners to own 100 of the shares of a corporation and purchase property. As a foreigner you can acquire irrevocable and absolute ownership rights to property in Mexico through a 50 year perpetually irrevocable and transferable Fideicomiso Trust. This enabled foreigners as beneficiaries of the trusts to legally enjoy unrestricted use of land located in the restricted area. The restricted area encompasses 100 kilometers along the border and 50 kilometers along the coast. Foreigners are allowed to purchase property in an “indirect way”. The most common is through a Fideicomiso.
Adios
